One of my favorite memories of Mandy was a few years ago around Valentines Day.

Big John Parker, Jimmy Raffenaud and I were trying to come up with a good Valentines Day sketch for youth group. We decided to do a video interviewing some of the people in the group and their views on love. We had done tons of interviews in the past and we wanted to spice it up a little so we thought we'd catch people when they least expected it. It took some convincing, but we got the OK from the parents to wake up our unsuspecting guests in the middle of the night and ask them what love meant to them.

Of course we had to interview Mandy! Rick and Pam left the house unlocked and we quietly entered about 1:30 a.m. along with the camcorder and a bright spotlight! After waking the dog (you may know who I am talking about) we thought she woke up, but she didn't. After a bit, we proceeded into her room and set up the light. We were a bit anxious because after all , we didn't know what any of our guests would be wearing! We plugged in the light and turned it on and started yelling "Who do you love?!?!" Mandy woke up and started yelling and screaming as normal. Jimmy was running on her treadmill and we were making all kinds of noise. She couldn't stop laughing and kept saying "What are you doing here???" and "Get out!!!" After a few minutes of that (and screaming for her dad) we left and went on to our next victim.

I still have that video and it is hilarious! In fact, she was such a good sport that we went back and did it again the next year!
